Canada-Based Seller Policy
Your selling business must genuinely be based and operated in Canada.
Eligibility
Your shop must genuinely be based and operated in Canada. Provide your actual Canadian operating address and maintain a legitimate operating presence here. A mail-forwarding address or nominal Canadian address alone does not establish eligibility. Keep your province, contact and Stripe identity information accurate and consistent with your business.
This is a business-location requirement, not a citizenship or ethnicity requirement. It does not automatically mean every component or product was made in Canada. Describe manufacturing origin and production partners honestly and follow applicable origin-labelling rules.
Changes and verification
Notify support before moving operations outside Canada and stop creating new listings if you no longer qualify. We may request reasonable evidence of your operating location, subject to the Privacy Notice; Stripe may separately require identity and business verification. An address field or seller attestation is not independent proof of residency.
The province may appear on your storefront. Your operating street address is stored privately and is not automatically shown as your public storefront address. Any legally required seller disclosures must still be supplied to buyers through the appropriate process.
