No-AI Design Policy

What is not allowed

Do not use generative AI or other AI design tools to create, develop or modify designs sold through this marketplace. This includes AI-assisted design ideation, artwork, illustrations, patterns, logos, graphics, layouts and other creative elements that form part of a listed product, including digital products and custom commissions.

Tracing, repainting, editing, combining or outsourcing an AI-generated design does not make it compliant. A supplier, production partner or contractor using AI for your product designs also breaches this rule. Do not use AI-generated product images to misrepresent the real item.

What is allowed

Human drawing, photography, manual design software, non-AI vector and layout tools, ordinary non-AI cropping, resizing, compression and colour correction are allowed when you hold the necessary rights. Administrative automation unrelated to creating designs is not prohibited by this design policy; other accuracy, privacy and marketing rules still apply.

Evidence and enforcement

Keep reasonable evidence of your human design process, such as sketches, source files, dated drafts or production records. If we raise a concern, you may explain your process and provide evidence. Automated AI-detector scores alone are not a reliable determination of a breach.

Non-compliant designs may be removed and repeated or deliberate breaches may restrict or close a shop. Outstanding orders, refunds and disputes still need resolution. If unsure whether a tool or process is allowed, ask support before listing the product.
