Customer Data & Marketing Rules

Order information is not permission to send newsletters.

Use only what you need

Use customer names, contact information and delivery details only to fulfil orders, provide requested service and meet applicable legal obligations. Limit access, secure devices and exports, and retain information only as long as needed. Do not sell customer data, share it with unrelated parties or publish private addresses.

If you independently collect customer data, you are responsible for your own lawful purposes, notices, security and rights-request handling. Notify platform support promptly of suspected exposure involving marketplace customer data so appropriate investigation and notification can occur.

Shop updates and commercial email

Favouriting a shop or placing an order is not, by itself, express consent to marketing. Use the customer’s separately selected product or blog email preferences and a valid consent basis under applicable law. Do not turn transactional order emails into unsolicited promotions.

Commercial messages must include appropriate sender identification, contact information and a working unsubscribe mechanism. Respect withdrawals and suppression records, maintain evidence of consent, and do not use preselected marketing checkboxes. Acceptance of seller policies must never force marketing consent.
